This document will guide you through how to enroll your Department of Medicine Windows computer in the Workspace One system
What does this enrollment do?
- Allows installation of apps via the Workspace One for Intelligent Hub app
- Allows the use of UW Health docking stations at touchdown spaces at locations like Eastpark Medical Center
Who can use these steps?
- Any Department of Medicine Employee using a DOM PC laptop
What about DOM Apple Computers?
Any DOM Apple devices that is in compliance will already be enrolled. If your Apple computer does not have the Workspace One for Intelligent Hub App, contact DOM IT
1. Open the Zenworks Application via the shortcut on your Desktop of via the Start Menu
2. Navigate to Windows>Mobile Device Management and select "WS1 Enrollment"
3. A new window will open asking for your UW Madison NetID. Once you input your NetID press "Enter" and the installation and enrollment will begin
The application installation can take a few minutes, but actual installation time will depend on your system and internet speeds
4. Once the installation is complete you will be able to find the Workspace One for Intelligent Hub app in your Start Menu. Select and open it.
5. As long as the Workspace One application opens and brings you to your landing page, you are all set!
Once these steps are complete you should be able to make use of any UW Health touchdown spaces, as well as install any apps presently available via the Workspace One Intelligent Hub Application.
