How to Access DOM network drives (G:\home, K drive, etc) from a DOM Windows Laptop – Department of Medicine IT Helpdesk

Data is being restored from the backup effective 9/11/24. After the restore completes, if you are missing files that were created between 9/11/24 and 9/17/24 that you cannot replace please contact the helpdesk. We will try to work with the vendor to get your data restored, but this could take at least 2 weeks, and we cannot guarantee the data will be successfully recovered

DOM GP VPN must be installed and running in order to access network drives. Once VPN is running proceed with directions below:

1. Go to the bottom right Corner of your desktop screen, and click on the caret symbol ^

2. Right click on the blue Novell/Microfocus icon, circled below:

3. Select OES Login

4. Login using your DOM Login information just as you with using DOM computers

5. Click on File Explorer. Your home directory should be there DOMusername(\\CLUSTER-ADMIN-DATA-SERVER(G:) or DOMusername (\\CLUSTER-ADMIN-DATA-SERVER\DOMDATA\HOME) (Z:)
