Adam Halstead, M.Sc.
Adam is the Director of the SDI group and specializes in needs analysis, strategic project planning, and IT service management. He is an experienced consultant in higher education settings for software development and implementation projects. Adam has a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from McGill University and a Master of Science from the University of Manchester.
Mike Whitney, M.S.
Mike has provided services for researchers in the areas of database administration, security, and bioinformatics applications, including at the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland. Mike has a Master of Computer and Electrical Engineering from UW–Madison.
Andrew Broman, B.S.
Andrew’s background is in designing and building statistical and biological computing applications for scientific research groups. He specializes in increasing automation efficiencies in data collection and management and has experience in informatics analysis. Andrew has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kansas and has trained in multiple programming languages.
Adam De Fouw, B.S.
Adam has as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and IT Infrastructure from UW–Whitewater. He is experienced in designing Content Management Systems and is in charge of the SDI group’s REDCap Services for the department.
Ashlyn Hussey, B.S.
Ashlyn is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and previously worked at the U of M School of Education as a software developer. For her senior capstone project, she developed an application for Mott Children’s Hospital for the diagnosis of surgical eligibility of patients with pectus excavatum using natural language processing techniques.
